My post: We have an award that is similar, the Copper Black award. I clicked on the MacArthur Foundation web site where they promoted their 2014 winners, and think it would be really fantastic to promote the Copper Black like that. Not only push the creativity awards to the front of the web site and hit the PR trail hard, but even just the photographs used - ones that inspire creativity and reflect the recipient, rather than a photo of each of them holding a plaque.
We have a "genius grant" -- award, whatever -- let's use it to our full advantage!
